PLDT Global strengthens partnership with Ding through expanded offerings for Filipinos living overseas

To further bring relevant digital solutions and services to Filipinos overseas and their families in the Philippines, PLDT Global Corporation (PLDT Global) has expanded its offerings on leading international mobile top-up platform Ding.

Through Ding.com and the Ding app, overseas Filipinos can purchase and send Smart and TNT prepaid load products to their family members in the Philippines

enabling them to connect to the Philippines’ leading mobile network. They can also buy gift cards from different Filipino brands, allowing these brands to reach a wider market in the United States, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Canada, among others. At present, customers can purchase food gift cards on Ding’s platform or mobile app for one-time use and redeemable in select branches in the Philippines, as well as Lazada and Shopee vouchers. Through this partnership with PLDT Global, Filipinos can also have access to gift vouchers for mWell online doctor consultations and Cignal TV prepaid cards on Ding.

Our partnership with PLDT Global marks a significant milestone in Ding’s mission to make it as easy as possible for Filipinos living abroad to send value home. By expanding our offerings from mobile load to include gift cards for popular Filipino and international brands, this collaboration enhances our customers' ability to support their families and friends from afar. In 2021, the Ding Global Prepaid Index reported that 83% of respondents in the Philippines use prepaid services.

This preference even extends beyond mobile, with 51% showing that they use prepaid products for utilities, prepaid debit cards, or gift cards and vouchers.

PLDT Global’s partnership with Ding to expand relevant digital services that benefit Filipinos living overseas is a fundamental part of the much broader PLDT commitment to serve and lift the quality of life of Filipinos everywhere.
